My name is Chris Gammell I’m a design engineer from Cleveland, OH.  I chose the name Analog Life, LLC after the name of my first blog, Chris Gammell’s Analog Life. I realize that much of the world is digital; but any signal or system when looked at from the right perspective has many analog components and issues often associated with analog systems. I have the experience to help you design around or even utilizing these issues to your advantage.

Another part of my online identity is the co-hosting a once-a-week podcast called The Amp Hour. I record this show with Dave Jones of EEVblog fame. Dave is a talented designer of many years and a great mentor for me in my own work. I enjoy being able to discuss real design issues with Dave and interact with the small community that has gathered around our show. If you’re working in the lab and want something to listen to while soldering, or just want to hear more about what I believe, I think The Amp Hour provides many candid views and design beliefs.
